The main functions of the department are:
- Issuance of Trade License.
- Inspection of the premises of license holders
- Record keeping and maintenance.
To get New Trade License/Renewal of Trade License you have to follow the following steps:-
Step 1 : Collect blank Application Form from Municipality.
Step 2 : Fill the Form very carefully in English (Block Letter) and attach require documents* with this form. Then submit the form to License Department.
Step 3 : Our License Inspector will check your all documents with originals & inspect the business site.
Step 3 : If all documents are found in order, this Municipality will give you a date in which you have to collect the License certificate. It will take maximum of 15 days.
*Documents to be submitted:-
i. NOC from Holding owner / Rent agreement & rent receipt of the land-lord.
ii. Property Tax/Holding Tax clearance receipt.
iii. Upto date Tax receipt from the BLRO.
iv.a. PAN card, b. Voter Card & c. Aadhar Card of the applicant.
Fees for Trade License:
Application Form Fees : Rs. 50/- per form
License Fees will depend on the category of Trade Licenses.
